Atleast that is what his mother Debby told him when he was younger. Well, she lied. Debby loved her son dearly , so much to an extent that she wanted him all for herself. When Dylan was two years old, Debby needed money, her husband Dan was her only target. Little did he know that the same soul that he loved so dearly ,the same girl that he promised the world would one day would frame him of drug trafficking and see him rot in jail. Dan could not believe that not even his money would hire a barrister to win his framed case in court. But after all, what money did he have?He was just a newly wedded clerk loaded with a piece of land inheritance from his father. Debby stuffed some narcotic drugs in his luggage at the most opportunistic time, when Dan was to travel abroad for a business trip. It was then that he was arrested , charged in a court of law and sentenced for life after Debby made sure Dan could not go free. She sold part of the piece of land, and brought up Dylan as a single mother. But this wickedness was to remain a secret until seventeen years later, when Dan would fall under the clemency power of the president. On this particular Wednesday afternoon Dylan was outside the house that Debby built on a remainder of the same piece of land that she 'inherited'. Dan, knowing no other place to go,went to his land to find a young fit man of his exact skin complexion, Dylan. Dan could see his reflection right infront of him, more of his younger self. From Dylan's shape of the nose to the premature baldness that was evidently hereditary. Dan needed no other confirmation that that young man was his son whom he last saw seventeen years ago. Dylan on the hand was in no big surprise, he just wondered what visitor the world come into a home and starts gazing at its residents with not a single word. After all, what can a human being remember about his past life when he was at the age of two years?Well, to break the silence which was now turning suspicious to Dylan, he asked Dan who he was but before Dan could speak, Debby walked out of the house screaming in disbelief. Debby knew that this was a fateful day for her, it would be a day that she would show her betrayal to her precious gem Dylan, her only son. So all the anger he harboured in his life was all because of her. She denied him his father's love. It is Debby's greed and selfishness that the world had reversed back as guilt and betrayal but as a good revenge for Dan. Indeed what goes round comes round.
