The day started with a lot of happiness and energy because the first person I met was my guy who I had not embraced for like two months.

Our first stop was at a gas station, not because we wanted to fuel the car but we had another situation we had to attend to. We had to purchase some drinks at least to access the washrooms, Lol!

It seemed chilly at that time because it was a bit early which is common in most places. Being new to the route, we were not familiar with the direction to our destination which forced us to consult. Luckily, the route we had taken was the right one as per that time, we went ahead for some kilometers until we realized we were given the wrong directions. We had to ride all the way back to the main road, what a beautiful wrong turn, it was worth it.

It was not long before we had it all together, google maps had played along. As we enjoyed the journey, I saw a large water body from afar and a deep smile of happiness filled my whole face, it was the best feeling to see what I had lived to wish for come true. My guy was overjoyed, not because of the dam but because I was happy, he was happy because I was.

There is always that part of the journey where you know you do not want to go beyond. Even life has it, when you think of being alive, old and weak at 150 years. It feels better to die strong and healthy at 100. Well, for this trip, that point was at some board. It read "photography and stopping at this scenery". We did a little parking only to realize there was another part of it way below the board. The invisible part read "PROHIBITED", leave the intuitive behind, you just have to stop to confirm it. We had a good laugh including the soldier and then turned back for resort.

We made it to the water plant, took a good view and then decided to head for the resort. The joy I felt from inside was unexplainable because of how intense it was. The quiet water flowed bringing in the significance of quietness and stillness. I watched the scenery with disbelief as we continued to enjoy the beautiful day.

In the end , I realized the destination was not the main joy, the joy was my guy and I faced it all together and made our plans come true. If you happen to head there, look for the word [prohibited] on a sign board, it will make your day.
