Learning by experience
Life's greatest lesson often arrives due to tears or even pain. Although we remember the good times some of the things people remember vividly are the things that were unforgettable based on pain, betrayal, and loss. Although many may wish to forget a lot of these experiences are written in our subconscious mind to protect us. The ability to walk onto unknown zones is often. Frowned upon and those who are our seniors tend to wish to protect us from the experiences rather than allow us to experience. From this many may choose whether to rebel or take the experience as outline by their seniors
Experience is the best teacher is not always noted as a benefit but is a necessary evil. Especially on the career front, we learn by practice rather than theory. This reminds me of how excited I was to learn how to swim. Although one fear existed we all wanted to show of tho our peers how much better we were than them. As a child, my parents often took me and my sibling's swimming making it a benefit for us as we went to swimming classes. Although I knew a little. I was often very cautious about drowning on the other hand my brother loved to show off. So one day when arrived at the pool he decided to show off what he had learned. He was a great swimmer with blooming skills. The skills were never a problem, the main problem was the ability to note pending dangers around us. On this faithful Friday morning, my brother learned a major lesson on how well he had to always be aware.
On this day he decided to demonstrate his ability to dive into the water. With all his colleges watching in amazement my brother dived and went underwater like a majestic fish only for his shorts to surface before he could. Unfortunately, he was not aware of what was happening until he surfaced to find his peer laughing instead of cheering. The embarrassment on his face made him learn a major lesson. He learned that no matter how well he performed as a swimmer his attire did not necessarily follow his skill set.
Remember this one lesson made my brother more aware of his surroundings than ever before. It also made our colleges cautious than before. As a result, one person's experience outlines several other lessons for other individuals. Experience is the best teacher.
