Views:1017 | By: Isaac Living with autism was now becoming unbearable to an extent where he neither enjoyed life nor wanted to socialise or interact with people as he felt inferior compared to his age mates. The situation stressed him, became a crisis but luckily it didn't graduate to depression as the whole process was interrupted by a gift, a gift from a good friend, and not only a friend but a brother also a mentor or maybe call him an icon of inspiration as he changed his life completely.

Though not appealing to many, to him it reflected differently as no one else in his life had acknowledged or shown interest in his dreams of becoming a doctor, not only a doctor but also a surgeon. Having received a book of anatomy and physiology from his friend, that made him develop some love and acceptance of himself, he was now ready to face the life and its challenges as a real medic, though not yet, and focus on his dreams as he had assurance of care at least from one person.

After 7 years of struggle, there he was by the side of the surgery table ready to do his first surgery, he just could not believe that despite of all challenges and discouragement from his colleagues that with his autistic disability he really could not make being a good surgeon, there he was ready to do the procedure. But who could deny the fact that where there is a will there is a way and disability is not inability? Destiny has it all,and as long as u believe in it as I do, then we have something in common.

Life would take a meaning to the less fortunate and the disabled if only we could live to encourage, reward and cheering their achievements.
