A slap that finally replaced the slap a former women rep received. While this slap seems to have created ripples in things is clear the slap had a purpose and reflects the feelings of several individuals.
My opinion concerning the slap is unnecessary but one thing is clear. Violence is not the answer. This slap has brought out many questions. One specific question is was it necessary.
Necessary or not the promotion of violence is not a choice. Domestic violence is promoted by excusing one event. Like look at all the fuss around the Oscar slap, one thing is clear, respect for each other is an integral part of life. If one group feels disrespected they often lash out to defend their honor. No problem, just use your word.
Remember, object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.
